Privacy Policy

Pente.org will not send you unsolicited emails, or give your email address to anyone without your permission. Pente.org, or other players here, may send you emails at the address provided in the following cases:
  • You will receive a welcome email from Pente.org with your player name and password
  • If you forget your password and request it, it will be sent to you via email
  • If you are playing a game and click Email Game, a text representation of the game will be sent to you via email
  • If you choose to have Pente.org News mailed to you, you will receive news about rarely via email
  • If another player knows your player name, they can send you a message that will show up under "My Messages". If you want to have these messages also sent to you via email you can configure that
  • If you "watch" a topic at the Forums and configure your profile to send emails when the topic is updated, you will get an email with the update
  • If you play in a tournament, the tournament directors will correspond with you about matches via email
  • If you choose to display your email address on your profile any registered player will be able to view it!

Your email address is required for convenience reasons only, such as receiving an email as a notification for a new message. It is not visible to other players by default, and it will never be handed over to third parties without your express consent. Any information you provide, such as email address, your age or location, ..., can be overwritten at any time (by yourself) and thus be erased.

Pente.org stores a cookie on your computer so that you don't have to log in again every time you navigate to a new page.

You must be at least 16 years old to be able to consent to this, otherwise consent from a parent or guardian is required.

Currently, you can purchase pente.org subscription from our iOS app, Pente Live. Payment will be charged to your iTunes account, and your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the same cost. Auto-renewal may be turned off at any time by going to your settings in the iTunes Store after purchase. Current subscription price is $4.99 USD/year and the subscription is valid for 1 year. Prices may vary in countries other than the U.S. and are subject to change without notice. If you cancel during the active subscription period, the remainder of the subscription price for that year will be forfeited. If you don’t choose to purchase a subscription you can simply continue playing for free.
