Just to be clear, I'm entered in zoey's tourney to have fun *and* to try to scalp as many very strong players as possible, as P2 *or* P1. As such I want to play the toughest players possible. Bring it on.
In Brf's tourney on the other hand, while I wanted to have fun, and did indeed have fun, my goal was to advance from round one, which I did, and also to advance from round two, which looks mathematically impossible now that I lost to Brf in a set. Even before I lost that set I think I was likely going to tie for first on points but lose on S-B points, a rare sighting at BK I think.
Anyway, after rereading my definitions of the rating scale at BK, I stand by those comments. I think it is an excellent description, with some players being underrated (e.g. zoey) and others overrated (e.g. me) by the BK system, at the moment anyways.
watsu is being removed to allow his alt to join - water dancer. this way he will be in with an established rating. this is being done at watsus request.
also, after more thought, i have decided to just go ahead and give this Pentak player a chance. i would like to be surprised that we had a new master hiding under our noses. time will tell.
i will update the line up post when i get a chance.

Update - the new line up prediction keep in mind this will change again. there are some players who will finish rated games soon and seeded positions will flip flop around a little. one example is waterdancer will go up one slot in seeding order soon.

august 10th is the date so far. there have a been a couple behind the scenes things going on that have moved the start dates a couple times. sorry about that. we'll get it going as soon as we can.

In World Cup Soccer terms, it looks like group 1 is the group of death. Good luck to everyone, in all three groups.
P.S. Anyone want to sell me 4 BKR's before Tuesday? (Just kidding for those readers who take things too literally). waterdancer is a sandbagger in group 3, and I am glad I don't have to play him after the beating I took (game scores unavailable ha ha) the last set we played together. That said, until a few minutes ago I had thought I was in group 3. This shall be interesting....
