Richard's and double elimination.

The reason for Riches is the mix up of the so called norm seeding and makes for some interesting matches.
But no matter if your Karl or Nodnarbo one thing applies which Nosovsky once wrote,"If you want to fight for first place generally it is not important who is playing against you, you have to beat anyone." <-------------This is very true but FUN while trying to win is a huge part of good turn outs, just ask any old speeder, stats schmats, seeding schmeeding,we didnt care--it was just fun to play with people that enjoyed the game, win or lose!

Perhaps in future events different formats could be tried (even a random drawing)to find out which one(ones)provide bigger turn-outs and enjoyment for everyone, after all its just a game............*~~~<:oD

P.S.
Thanx Zoey for your time and efforts in the Pente community!

look here for brackets
notice double elim only means on extra round...not really any more time

Well, I think that the player with the lowest ranking should get a "bye" in the first round. We have this rule on kurnik's tournaments.

what's the reason for that? it just means they'll be playing a high ranked person next round...

ok,..I'll leave it up to Richardiii to decide, as far as the "Bye" is concerned. Since it is his method, and you guys voted for Richardiii.
