I also lost two games because I could not login. Is there any way to undo this problem or does everyone in this situation just have to forget and move on?

Dweebo is still on vacation I believe. He rebooted the server to allow the site to be up and running.
I don't believe he has made it home to address the situation in totality. Not sure what his decisions will be nor what is eliminated due to the fact things have moved so far along since initial issue.
I would venture to say he will probably post something about the site issues when he returns and is more able to address the situation.
