Pente, Keryo Pente - six stones in a row. Will this count as a win ?

Hello all,
I guess I better ask before I made my next move at a game of mine.
If I can get six stones in a row at a Pente and/or a Keryo Pente match: Is this counted as a win or not (and I have to play on) ? I don't have this situation here before.
I just ask, because I am very sure that at another game-site (whre you can play Pente and Go-moku besides other games) it is NOT a win when you get six stones in a row.

Don't know which site are you mentioning but I believe that overline (6+ in a row) should not win in Gomoku and should win in Pente on any game-site. Just because of rules of these games.

There is one site which I'm aware of where overlines don't win at Pente, but it's the only exception I'm aware of to the rule, unless maybe another site offers a lot of different variants. Flyordie.com is the exception to the rule.
Retired from TB Pente, but still playing live games & exploring variants like D, poof and boat

Agreed with others. At least one other site has an option where 6 in a row will not win. Be sure to read the conditions (RULES) for each game at those other sites. It can cause you grief if you are not familiar with the rules of the game.
This site, for Pente, 6 in a row will win the game.
