P.S. For the record: When I suggested that you shift your focus by 10 degrees, I had not actually used a compass to measure it. 10 degrees is only an approximate measure...

Puzzle #4: Hopefully I didn't miss a whole big layer somewhere. Right now I'm counting 82 squares and 324 triangles ... The big number minus the small number would be 242 (the other way it would be -242, I wasn't sure which way was being asked for but I'll assume a positive number is what we want). Did I miss a whole bunch of shapes somewhere? My breakdown for triangles is:
41 pointing north 41 pointing south 41 pointing west 41 pointing east 40 pointing northwest 40 pointing northeast 40 pointing southwest 40 pointing southeast
each of which is comprised of multiple sizes, etc. Has anyone else tried this one yet?
