they're very different actually...live relies more on split-second thinking and memory, turn-based relies more on studying and researching databases

It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.

You say live relies on memory, but for turn-based you have to remember your strategy over a period of up to a month. Doesn't that require memory?
Another thing about turn-based is that you're not playing the game in one stiting so you might be tired one day when you take your move, you might be feeling risky another day...it all depends on your mood at that time.
