oh my my, the box looks extremely clean in the picture...
that is looking very good condition actually. my glass board didn't come in a black box like that. and mine didn't come with 4 matching black colored bags. gee i might bid on that there. its worth the price being asked in my opinion. but seeing as i already have a glass board i cant justify paying full price. i wonder what the reserve price is. to be honest, with as clean as it is, if i didn't have one already, and they were asking $400, id pay the $400 i think.

I encouraged my brother last Christmas to buy a similar board for 84 dollars on E-Bay. I still wonder how many of these glass boards were produced. What was the original price? Any who..I await the day when I see one for 10 bucks in a yard sale or the salvation army.

originally to the best of my knowledge they were $50 in circa 1980. im guessing 200 - 1,000 is the range of how many were made. just my wild guess.

and i'll guess that only 25% of them have survived these 30+ years.

so means im guessing only 50-250 boards are still intact.

out of those owners, few know its current monetary value, and some don't even realize they have it in some storage box or barn some where. waiting to be discovered and have dust removed. i keep waiting for the guys on that show called American Pickers on the history channel, to go in a barn and dig up a glass board. that would be epic in my opinion.

the increase of value scales out to being a $10 per year average gain. but this can change dramatically in the future... if supply and demand shifts.
