It is good to have pente.org back. Pente addicts are fortunate to have this place. This reminded me of some obvious reasons I appreciate it here.
It has pente and pro-pente but also many variants like, speed-pente, keryo-pente, d-pente, poof-pente, boat-pente, g-pente, gomoku, and connect 6. Any of those games can be played live or turn-based. The live game board is simple and big, it is the best looking pente board on the net. Plus, using the 'options' button can customize the appearance of the stones. The database has over 400 000 games! It has a decade of pente games. Searching for specific moves and stats can be very interesting. Searching games of a specific player is easy (just click the player name, select the game type, then click a link on the left to review a corresponding game). The forum has the ideas of some very intelligent interesting minds. I almost forgot to mention the computer ai to play for practice. I could go on but most players here already know these things.
Basically, to me, pente.org has more value than ANY other pente site.
