That would be cool except I would just do the list of players from the last 10 years from most of the sites ive visited and played on. I don't want to delve into the 70 and 80s. When I first started here there were so many great players that just stopped playing for one reason or another. Sounds like alot of fun to come up with the Hall of Fame list

Oh and Im way to high on that list since ive played very little in the last 6 months and Z you have moved up to the top 10 for along time now. There are some new faces at Brain that are up and coming talents that are high on my list of players. Not sure if they are old players with new nicks or they just became good over the last 6 to 8 months.

yeah ,. happyjuggler and novatis,.. perhaps globule too. globule has been around and has been improving his game. the other 2 have come from pente.net i think, and after i started playing with them at pente.org, and over the following 6 months they tightened thier playing style a bit. novatis had made the largest leaps in pente awareness in the shortest time taking the game very seriously. a honorable mention for passion and strong efforts is due there in my opinion. chessik has been around, he is mainly a chess player. and in a basic opening when nosovs had made a early move error, that looked solid in the data base, chessik was able to apply his understanding of tempo from chess to tip toe his way around into sure win as P2. i just wish he played more pente.

Both of my "regular pente" alternate online names are on that link, although I recently started happykeryojuggler0 over at pente.net, and anyone that wants to challenge me with that name over there to turn based keryo pente (two game set 19x19 please) should feel free to do so. I'm still learning that game, although there is some serious carry over strategy and understanding from regular "tournament" pente rules. I'll consider other rule challenges with that name, but no promises.
As per zoey's last comments, I know he thinks I should change my P1 opening repertoire. Maybe I will, maybe I won't. Maybe I'll mix it up, or not. Ambiguity is my friend....
Anyway, my "pure" pente ability outstrips my opening ability to be sure. Judge from that what you will.
Finally, in zoey's tourney at BK, when the opening phase of all the 2nd game of the sets are over, I'll be playing regular timed and rated pente here again. For now though I prefer to keep some secrets in reserve....

By the way, does anyone have an "alt" on hypnotoad (at BK)? I can verify that he has skill at C6 (he mercilessly identified and exploited my mistakes when I was likewowman2cool at BK), but I haven't looked at his pente games yet.

Not sure if they have alts you've already included in your list zoey but Lanser, Mastema, and Karol G probably should be pretty close to the top of the list.

Lanser and mastema i wasnt aware they were active in 2010. karol G yes he should be added. not sure how high though. below s3v3n ide say.
lanser would be in the top 10. mastema ,. ive not seen his games, but heard of him. i should have a look at his games.
but, its all not up to me,.. jay has final say on the list. im just throwin out ideas for fun.
and happy, ill just say that i my self need to work on my P1 opening responses, as nosovs had showed me recently that my 3rd in one opening was weak. im still rough around the edges my self, and thats ok, we evolve and redevelope our selfs over time as we learn of our own weaknesses. it keeps this game fun. im not going to officially say you need to change your P1 opening responses at this time. that will be for you to discover in time or not.
you are a strong player. and like me, you have room to grow in pente, as we all do, except maybe nosovs lol, and thats ok.

ahh yes i think your right, and if so, and if he was active this year, then in the top ten probably. but his games for this year would need to be reviewed. the quality of past years games i would think are irrelevant to this year. know what i mean?
