________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Player 1 (White) Wins - Defeating (Black) mm_AI 8 ; The next 7 games are 7 of 8 possibilities of the same exact moves
ending with 13 white, and 12 black stones played.

Rotated all 4 ways and player one's 3rd move replayed mirrored 3 of the 4 ratational ways aswell. So, weither blacks first
move is L10,K9,K11,or J10 , you will have the moves at hand. The 8th one( the mirror of 1. K10 J10 ) is missing, but with
these 7 it is easily figured.(Note these moves are not in any data base.)

It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.

Ya know that you can download mm_ai1-18 on mmammel's website, right? Once you download, the proggie moves much faster too zoey And seein's how Deep Blue did against Kasparov, I think the concept of pitting a player against the ai has its merits in terms of development, but alas this is but a humble opine of mine. Here's the URL for the download(s) http://users.erols.com/msmammel/marksfiv.html

I see... it is interesting, and those aren't bad games. I'd be interested in seeing improvements to the AI's... but 1) they take forever on here, and 2) they aren't really current on openings, etc. But I suppose learning all these openings can help one develop... sorta

Well of course.....the ai8 thinks how far ahead?....8 moves. It gets a lot better as you go farther up the ladder.....and with the downloads the play is MUCH faster for anyone interested in the ai.

oh and by the way,.. the dsg's mm_ai8 beats the mark's website's ai_18 over and over again. dont know why but the 8 is stronger than the level 18 one. strange...perhaps becuase it moves too fast...

The program on this site and the downloaded version should be about the same, but I think there are differences. But Level 18 should beat Level 8 unless its opening is very bad. What do you mean level 18 moves too fast??? It should be slow Except for the opening which is from the opening book.

No, you cannot add games to the opening book of the program, unfortunately. I had aspirations to make some improvements including that but its unlikely.
