intellectual property rights

sorry to have to do this but to be perfectly clear... anyone who plays/comments/submits anything here automatically submits to 'opensource' law. this means you relinquish any personal property rights to anything you say/do/post. in fact, those rights legally revert to the site owner. that includes any and all games in the database regardless of their origin.

it is guaranteed in the millennial copyright act. which means it is implicit. bottom line is the site owner has full possession of any material on this site.

how does this demonstrate that a person has abandoned their copyright?
Also does this suggest that anything that anyone anywhere uploads to, or passes through, the internet, or any of it's apparatus, suddenly the copyright holder is abandoning their rights?
Does this mean cisco owns every online activity you've ever produced? Does this mean the post office owns your vehicle if your title passed through the system?
If a 'conduit' is understood to merely be acting custodially, why would we take the leap to a person losing their copyright just because it passes through it, or is momentarily parked there?
It's like suggesting that, because you stood in the Aldi store, with your kids, that Aldi now owns you and your kids?

this is a public forum, etyrnal. that alone is an inherent release of right to content. so if you have the blueprint for a hyperdrive then i wouldn't post it here. but given we are talking pente, i think we are safe. i was simply pointing out that site content belongs to the site owner. and pretty sure aldi doesnt want my kid (god knows i have tried).

The data base is pay per view by subscription. If you end up making legal threats to the new site owner whats to stop him from exercising his legal right to delete your account?

I guess, in consideration of the suggestion that this idea is so completely obvious, if it's so completely obvious, then it was unnecessary to State the idea, no?

who is making a legal threat? discussing the concept that somebody raised about legalities related to the site is a threat? how is it any different than discussing the terms of service to try to get a better understanding? I don't see how that constitutes a threat. I hope we are not attempting to slander other people by accusing them of legally threatening the site without proof that that is what is happening. LOL it feels like this turned into a game of hyperbole.

and to be perfectly clear, i am not now or ever was it my intent to threaten any legalities. i was simply stating the facts of the matter. and if zach decides my presence here is a detriment to this site i am sure he will let me know. or did i miss the post where he named you his public relations speaker?

Zach inherits admins. It is his right to remove them as admin or to retrain them in their roles or behaviors etc. In the mean time im pretty much the only active admin who monitors the forum. And for what ever reason you like to target me constantly, by attempting to provoke me in the forums.
Furthermore here is an exact copy and paste of a portion of a message which you sent me yesterday:
"of course i have used the forums to inflame players. i did so to try to help revive the site. and to an extent it worked." -invictus
You have been asked many times to stop that behavior. I feel I have been extremely patient with you thus far.

lol! if you had your way i would have been gone long ago. i would prefer this be a private discussion but you refuse. so who exactly is inflaming? because i said something you may disagree with is not inflammatory. and if you really wanna push your assumed authority, then kick me from the site. see how that goes for ya, killa.

You have admitted to inflamming members. Stating their names is superfluous. I'm not currently deleting your account. I might ask tho that you stop targeting me. Thanks
