They just posted a NEW one- includes the original fabric cover with "Pente" on the front. Here's the link:

I have two glass boards, and one wooden (birch I think) from 1982, the year Parker Brothers bought Pente from Gary Gabrel. His name is on them (copyright line)
The glass boards are going on ebay next week, just a heads up

not sure if this wooden board on ebay is yours, but if it is, it looks in great shape. seems worth the $200. but not sure with the economy if people can afford it. I recall in 2007 several members at this site were willing to fork out $350-$400 for glass boards. the economy was different at that time. same goes for art in general, some times it must sell for a little lower than its value if consumer's wallets are tight. If it doesn't go for the $200, I might suggest $125. Im pretty sure someone will snatch it up at that price. and if it doesn't go for that, then try $75. I would pay $75 for it, but that's just given my personal position and the fact that I already have a ridiculous collection of various pente boards.

No, that one's not mine. Mine is in even better condition. Never left the factory plastic. I think I'll list the glass one (one of them) at $125 and see how it goes. I'll have to charge substantial shipping - it is after all glass, and insurance and all that crap.

And like an idiot, I gave away over a dozen bags of gems in the Pente printed faux suede bags... DOH!

the packaging can be obtained for pretty much free. just the time spent doing that, that has monetary value in my opinion. The shipping will cost something,.. as to insurance, just charge what ever it exactly costs you. as to the price of the glass board its self,... never sell a glass board for less than $150... that is rock bottom in my opinion,.. UNLESS - it has damage, like scratches, chips, missing frosted ink, dismounted glass leg that was re-glued, or missing leg.. and if the original packaging (box) is missing, or "heavily damaged".

Just be fair on the extra charges, or include them all in the boards slightly higher price. again, all in my opinion..

a good glass board,. thats in a so-so or good shape box, is valued between $350-$400... convincing the consumers to open the wallet is another story. You might just ask $250 and not charge for shipping and insurance. i dunno,

Good luck!

Thanks for the input.
I have one with a set of acrylic legs, unattached, that's the way they were shipped. It never saw a box. They were shipped in a stack with styrofoam sheets between them for padding (~1983) I still can't believe they were not shattered long ago.
Photos will be a challenge (clear glass, reflection, etc..) but one is going on Ebay this week.

I just found a mint condition birch Pente board with four leather bags of playing pieces, tan "leather" portfolio case and original instructions. Was interested in connecting with players looking for a rare set such as this. I can send photos to interested parties.

Hello all. I found a wood board Pente game and am listing it on eBay now. It is a salesman sample with a handwritten letter to a store owner from Gary Gabrel. Here?s the link:

WATSU, can you put together a sketch of your proposed cardboard and lentils Pente board. If you bring it to production you?d be the only one making them anymore.
