Pente Blogger Widget...?

So, I'm setting up a blog, and looking for "widgets" to add. And I thought... Wow, wouldn't it be cool to have a Pente widget?! Yet, there are none...
Any thoughts put into developing one?

I don't really know what a widget is, or how to create one, what exactly would the widget display?
How would I go about creating one?
Actually I have no time to create one but it sounds interesting.
