I have having trouble connecting to play. I can get the dashboard, but I get a message saying my connection is bad. It isn't. What gives? Anyone know? Also, I cannot get pictures to load and I am a donor.

Sumpin's fuxered with the java.....opening the main applet it disco'd 2x on me then the 3rd time all my firefox windows crashed like an junkie in a monestary.......

glad you got back in.
this happens on occasion that you get disconnected and your computer is unable to cleanly close the connection to the pente.org server. so the server still thinks you are logged in. the software is setup so that when you are connected to the game room, a little ping message is sent every so often to the server just to say "hey, i'm still logged in". if the server doesn't see any of those messages from you after a certain period of time, then it will kick you off.
it should only take a minute or 2 for the server to notice. if it is taking longer than that, you might want to restart your browser, since it is possible that the connection is remaining open in the background.
(wish all problems were this simple to resolve...
