Problems playing on untimed boards?

Ocasionally, I've had issues being able to play moves on boards (or my opponent has) and in the latest instance it was on untimed boards, which might be a pattern based on my memory of the other times the issue has occurred.
Retired from TB Pente, but still playing live games & exploring variants like D, poof and boat

Well, I didn't notice zoeyk having issues with it on his board today, but when I've had an untimed board in the past sometimes what I've seen is: D Pente - white makes a proposal, black is unable to move or swqp Pente - white K10, black can't move.

I suspect this is only a bug with the frontend code, and I suspect that if the affected party reloads or does a force reload and rejoins the game, the issue might be resolved that way.
