at move 22 i am feeling good! we have captured 3 pairs each. richard has 4 unprotected pairs under threat and i only need two. i only have 1 pair under threat. looks good for me, right? wrong! the king still reigns!

Interesting game, thanks for sharing. It is fun to study a game that gets to down to the wire with captures.
I relatively new to pente, so I want to better understand strategy and tactics. It seems to me, that after move 20 invictus (to H9), based on richardiii's play, the game is decided.
What would have been a better move for invictus at move 20? Was the game's outcome decided before move 20?
this game i posted of my brutal demise seems to keep popping up. it was a good game so i get it. it's why i posted it. but kinda feeling like i need to balance things with a win against same said player. so i submit for your analysis...
