Yes Dufus was eliminated from this tournament by the tournament directors: myself, Gary Barnes, Joe King, and Dweebo. It was not a light decision, and not made for any personal or political reasons. Gary will soon post, in great detail, our reasons.
We do not want to eliminate fun, but we want the tournaments to run smoothly and fairly for all players -- that is not an easy balance.
I hope that you will not be discouraged by this event but will be able to look forward to a good tournament.

I do not know the particulars on this, but here's my two cents: 1. Whatever Mark, Gary, Joe and Dweebo decide...I support. 2. I am glad they volunteer their time to keep this site and these tournaments going. Being a tournament director is like being an NFL referee, but without the good pay. Let's all have some fun and keep it fierce over-the-board and light otherwise. Scott
