I am as well. I have something close to 200 games counting turn-based, but maybe a quarter of that is live or counts... so if I'm on and you want to play, message me.

I don't like the idea of having turn-based games in connect6 count towards the tournament.
I'd rather we just do away with the 20 game requirement for the 1st tournament, to get more people playing. But I guess I'll leave that up to karl, he's running it.

In addition to the Connect6 gold crown for the winner of this upcoming tournament, I'd also like to give away a DSG shirt to the winner, and a DSG mug to the runner up!
I'll also give away another DSG mug with a lottery type system. For every match you play in you get 1 entry in the lottery. Then I'll randomly pick a winner. So as you can see, the longer you stay in the tournament, the better your chances of winning the lottery mug! I think this idea comes from up2ng who suggested it long ago in one of our tournament idea discussions, so thanks Dean, I didn't forget.
Lets try and make this a decent sized tournament, there are alot of good c6 players out there who don't play much here, find them and invite them! If you have a web page or blog, or myspace page or whatever, link to the tournament page with "Connect 6 tournament" text, that will drive more people here (anyone searching for connect6 and tournament will find this tournament easily). -dweebo

Then everybody forfeits and I win.
I just sent an e-mail out to everyone giving them information about the tournament and the 2-week deadline. I will probably extend this 1st round a couple days, but after that I will start handing out the forfeits. Because I opened this tournament to provisional players, there'll be a lot more no-shows than usual, I imagine.
It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.
