Round robins in tournaments

After draws in a number of sets, should both players advance to face their next opponent in a round robin? If not, how many sets will the two equally matched players play before one of them bows out to let the other one advance? This isn't a hypothetical question, as in the current tournaments Dmitri King and I could easily be on track to draw several sets in D and poof. I'd likely bow out from exhaustion and wanting to do other things after three drawn sets. If we both advanced to the next round as a round robin, we might draw against each other again, but one of us might fare better (or worse) than the other against the third player.

The description seems to indicate that draws are treated as wins and both players advance. Not necessarily facing each other in the next round. Eventually 1 pair of players is left and the tournament is decided in single elimination.
