great video! well produced. your daughter in the background saying"cmon! lets play!" very cute and very apropo. but leaves me w/ a few questions... is a date set? when do we register? what is the format? is there an entry fee?

Hey Vic, So, as to the Date, So far we believe the start date will be December 1st. As to when we will open the sign up page, not sure but might be a couple weeks. I need to sit down with rainwolf and go through the format parameters. Essentially, timer will be set to the classic standard 20/0. Max players im not sure yet. I think last time we did a 16 player limit, so unless there are a lot of players showing interest to sign up, I might just keep it at 16. If I see Up2ng, Karlw, or Brf as examples, I'll pick their brains for format thoughts. I think basically it will end up being exactly like the 2010 tourney though.
No entry fee for a world champion tournament. Although a entry fee for other future tourneys that have cash prizes could be a possibility.
As to Richardiii and s3v3n, Yes they have crowns, but those are different crowns. Those are not for "Live Pente". View their profiles and you will see what I mean.
I took Richardiii's crown... There is only one, and when you win it, you are taking it from the past champion.

Hi Vic. The dates have been on the sign up page if you look at it. It says sign up end date is Oct 18, (my birth day coincidentally ), and tourney start date is Dec 1st. Thanks tho, good questions.
