iyt oct 2000 main #1 tournament

The games for this (unfinished) tournament can be downloaded at http://www.pente.org/downloads.html in a zip file. You can view the games individually with a text editor or view the games through the iyt filter by unzipping the files into the games/ and players/ directories under the iyt filter directory. I will continue to post other touraments as I download them!

I hope everyone appreciates this work by dwe. THANKS MILLIONS! If I counted correctly we have 352 games we can look at from his unzipped data . !!!
Dwe must have a much faster download from IYT than my 33.6 KBPS. I would love to pitch in and provide my share but , 5 pairs of moves takes me 4 or 5 min. So thats probably my limit (using dwe's filter, I mean)
Did someone offer to put a picture of a mancala board up on this site? Hope you do it. I am totally at a loss to know what its all about.
About my suggestion for a different type of tourney. If anyone wanted to correspond and play a non tourney game they could use this site for a meeting place. ( this is where one sets up any board and number of takes and whose move; and other chooses which to play) Should it be a possible position? ( your choice ^_^ )
I don't know whether to enter my e-mail address. Is it okay to do it here? If not, how could we get around this?
