Yes, there will be more live tournaments in the future!
After the OKC tournament, there was an initial meeting of the WPPF - World Pente Players Foundation. I could not attend since it was on Sunday but many of the players at the tournament did. Anyways, the purpose of the WPPF as I understand it is to promote the game through local clubs and tournaments. Greg Strange (cicerolove) is the one who organized everything and will know more. You can learn more about the WPPF at http://www.playpente.com/. In a short while I'll be creating a new WPPF forum as well for discussion of things like this.
