agreed, however, monthly is probably not doable. The 2025 Pente Masters tournament start almost 3 months ago and only recently finished.

Well, it's certainly doable in principle. More frequent tournaments would likely attract a smaller number of players compared to major ones like Pente Masters if they were called fast fun June tourney with no crown at stake (or something, don't ask me to name them!). Fewer participants and a shorter per move timer would allow tournaments to finish in more reasonable time frames.

The more tournaments, the less value of winning and participating in each.

The only issue with waiting for one round of tournaments to end before starting another is that tournaments like Go, DK, G finish quickly, and tournamemts like Pente Masters and gomoku can take months or years to complete, for various reasons (level of players, FPA of games, etc.).

yes, more Tournements, please.
I am pretty new here and I am a bloody beginner at the games Pente & Gomoku , but I think Tournaments are a good way to practise and it is also fun playing a Tournament (even if you lose all games)
Thanks

Yes! Since tournaments are opt in, perhaps we could have a 1 day time limit to make them go faster?

well, depends on which kind of tournament it is

As with
Single-Elimination
Double-Elimination
or maybe
Swiss

one or better two days time limitation is OK.

But for a
Round-Robin
where one has to play against many other players at the same time (if I understand the rules of Round Robin correctly), than a time limitation of 5 days or more would be better, at least for bloody beginners of the game Pente, just as me :-
Thanks

I agree that more tournaments is a good idea.
Do every new round of tournament have to include all games?

Pente attracts much more attenders than other games. Is it possible to soon start a new round with all other variants?
