Hello cuchulainn! Welcome to pente.org and to these forums. If you log into the game room, you can invite a computer opponent, from level 1 to level 8 to play against.
Some users find this a little slow at higher levels. The author of this AI has created a downloadable version which runs much faster. His site is here:
