I can't play

I just got a new computer windows 7 -64bit and have downloaded java 64 bit for windows 7. Now everytime I try to play Pente my system crashes/fails. What gives?

I downloaded google chrome and then downloaded java via the link on this site and now everything is groovy. I can now play the computer; I still suck , but t least I can play.
