December 2005 Open Main #1 Tournament
The Database at itsyourturn.com has finally been restored so that past games can be viewed.
Alex and I played in a tournament there back in 2005 when we were both starting to really make headway in our games. We faced off starting in the 2nd round with 2 other opponents who were still in it with us, Bugs Bunny, and Death Merchant (Tragedy). We went for a total of 9 rounds, and I believe I won just because Alex got tired of playing me. LoL!
Those games weren't all necessarily the best pente games we've ever played, but at the time, they were the most intense nerve wracking events I personally ever played. Many of the lines used have since then been played out over and over here, and no longer pose anything unique.
For a long time these games were lost in a corrupt database, but not anymore.
Note: I just hope I typed all the coordinates in right.

Well, wouldn't that be nice? No, it appears that they only kept the more recent ones, so the moves histories of tournament games from say 2003 aren't available.
