New pente.org server
Posted: Dec 10, 2008, 8:01 PM

I just moved the pente.org site over to a new server today. So far everything seems to be working alright, but let me know if you run into any new problems.

This new server is a faster machine and pente.org will be the only site running on the server, so the site should be faster.

Actually, I have a problem logging in automatically. Now I have to type in my user name and password every single time I enter the website. Other than that, the website is running fine. It is loading fast after I log in. Dweebo, you still rock! Thanks,

Carson.......

Interesting, I guess I would try removing your cookies for pente.org and trying again. That is not happening for me.

I guess I should have mentioned that I already tried deleting the cookies and it did not help. But just for grins, I deleted my cookies a second time and it still did not fix the issue. I have to log in every time.

The database is not showing games properly. Didn't show individual games and only showed pente.org games when I searched for additional moves

I was having the login problem using Internet Explorer, but not with Firefox. I don't know if dweebo fixed the issue when I switched over or if IE just isn't wanting to cooperate.

Firefox ftw, then. Besides, IE is apparently having some pretty serious security issues right now, anyway. See the link: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/7784908.stm
