The colours are based on people's ratings, which is a number based on how many games they won or lost, with more points for winning against players who themselves have a high rating.
White are players who have played less than 20 games.
Grey are the players who lose most often (or who started lots of games and then timed out on all of them, that counts as losing) Green are below average but better than grey Blue is average Yellow are good Red is the best players

ummmmm... did titok just call me a below average player? while i agree w/ titok's assessment of the color/rating system, i heartily disagree with titok's inference of skill level. i would contend that there are many red level players that would not consider me a 'below average' player despite being green for a decade.
p.s. care to play this 'below average' player a live set, titok?
