Rating changes from Timeouts

Is it possible to exclude rating changes from games that timed out in turn based games? In live games losing on time is a real thing that comes down to skill, but gaining rating from a player who forgot, got too busy, or had some other thing happen in a "3 days per move" game is a bit silly.

I'm opposed to this idea. Vacation days offer a padding for the occasional move which goes past the number of days per turn (+ weekend days) limit and extra vacation days can be purchased. It's not fair to the player who doesn't time out to not gain rating points on a set they might very well have won had there been not time out.

Retired from TB Pente, but still playing live games & exploring variants like D, poof and boat

plus, a player that is losing, may decide not to play (time out) in order to not complete the loss

One compromise option would be to add a "request more time" button. That way if stuff comes up (as it will!), there's a reasonable way to manage that.
