Not an inconvenience, at all, just a hint from fellow web developer. You do have a little weirdness in the profile page too, CSS is a little skewy on the two columns vertically, in the info block (just an FYI).

The invite test I sent you can cancel, if you wish. The confusing part is the "Play As" field defaults to white. Well that infers, that you are playing a "non-turn based" game. That's why I tested it with you.

I believe there is also a glitch in the 'it is your turn in X games' message, as it currently says 'it is your turn in 10 games' when I have ten games active, but all of them are my opponent's turns.
It would also be nice if there was some colour coding of the 'My turn' vs 'Opponent's turn' headings. The previous site had them as orange and green, respectively.

Just put the site back as it was. Always someone that thinks they're hot stuff. Then changes a perfectly operating system and by so ends up screwing it up. So called software engineers are usually incompetent. I work in Industrial Robotics and if it works fine; leave it alone!

@adarnold - I think that's unnecessarily harsh. The site was what we've been used to for several years (but not at all like the original site in the 2000 era), but it was hardly a perfectly operating system. What the site has mostly been since your registration 5 years ago is the product of two owners over nearly 20 years prior to your registration and I can attest to at least a few site crashing pieces of code which needed to be fixed because of unforeseen issues. I can think of several examples off the top of my head of things on the site prior to Zach's changes which were either buggy (live D Pente), needed adding (automated live tournaments) or 404 (tutorials, game moves in live games, etc.). Yeah, there are some things which were better before the change, but I also have seen some improvements (game moves, e.g.) and am looking forward to seeing what else Zach will be doing with the site.
Retired from TB Pente, but still playing live games & exploring variants like D, poof and boat

I understand your stand here. As a web developer for over 25 years I know what Zach is dealing with, especially in a social environment like this. I felt it more helpful to be helpful and tell him one at time the issues you spot. Ray

@adarnold
I'm sorry you feel this way about the update. As I've mentioned, my only intention was to give it an interface update and make things a little more modern. Clearly, I've missed a few things from the previous version and I apologize. We are currently working and trying to resolve these issues ASAP.
As I mentioned I'm sorry you've had issues and aren't a fan of the recent update. Having said that I stand behind the update and can assure you I'm open and taking all the feedback to make the necessary adjustments and ensure the site update works well for everyone.
