Pente Lessons

If you see me in the live room, I'm probably waiting for Karlw to maybe show up for practice. But if he hasn't shown up yet any player can jump in for some pente lessons until he arrives. Unrated, with tourney rule only. timer 20 minutes. we can go over openings you struggle with, or you can hit me with your best shot. see you on the table.

I highly recommend Pente lessons with zoeyk!

Another experienced novice here, trying to remember the game that I played many years ago. Thank you for the offer

no response from zoeyk.
to be expected as as we spent countless hours running various opens, midgame, and endgame strats.
which he knows means i know every move he makes.
so here's my advice to the general public...
play watsu for free
he is the best analytic strategist on this site
he can teach.
however...
karlw is arrogant but the best there is.
play him if you can
its why z wants him so bad
and if z has a prob w/ my comments then my offer stands.

@eliberty. Certainly, if you see me in the lobby feel free to hop in.

Sorry vic, but
1. I'm not even close to being the best analytic strategist on the site in either turn based or (especially not) real time Pente. Maybe you're thinking of turn based poof Pente. Even there, it's probably not true. Plus, my actual table time here is pretty sporadic and limited, even though you managed to get a couple of poof games with me.
2. I know you like to stir things up to try to get some games with masters, but... just that zoeyk is showing up here regularly to push stones with other players is invaluable to people like myself and others here.

you are correct watsu.
i apologize to everyone including z.
and yes he is an invaluable asset to this site.
i encourage all who have the opportunity to play him to take advantage of it.
sometimes ( alot of times) my mouth gets ahead of me.
again, apologies to all.
