I just received this copy of Pente in the mail. I bought it because I had never seen this edition before. Attached is an image. It is from 1977 and the mat is flimsier. It's also white on the bottom instead of the usual black. The mat's decorations also have a texture, whereas my 1980/82 tube doesn't. The pamphlet is also very different, obviously. Could this be some sort of prototype or very early edition? Has anyone else seen one? Super happy I picked it up, it's really cool!
