Well, since the ratings system was changed so that draws were rated, I've continued to play TB against nearly every challenger (pretty much everyone over 1900, which is 700 points below me). I am the only top player who has done this. I've completed 86 rated games in 2020. From May to December 2019, my rating dropped about 100 points from 2750 to 2660 (inflation correction) and has since stabilized, so I don't think what you're suggesting is going to "tank" my rating (the same can't be said for yours, however). I encourage anyone to try.

It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.

i have tanked many a players rating.
never asked anyone to do it for me...let alone the whole site.
knowing karl he probably welcomes it, however.

i am sorry but there are so many things wrong w/ that post i am unsure where to begin...
!. there is no way you have the percentages of players here that read the forums... rainwolf may.
2. there is no way you can predict the number of players that would put in the effort to beat a player like karl
3. regardless, you addressed the entire site in forums whether they see it and/or respond or not.
4.asking other players to tank another player is bad form, imo.
having said that, i will gladly take karl's points... and yours!

i know you both to be men of honor and would play a clean game.
you are both closely rated so there is little chance of a great point loss for either party.
seems a fair fight to me...
so what's the problem?
