The next torch bearer

If anyone's interested in taking over development and/or ownership, get in touch.

As I've mentioned before, I have no intention in shutting down the site if no one's willing to take over.

Edited to say the sooner someone comes forward, the more time I'll have to provide support for the code.

In that case I have good news for you, there are a lot of fairly good tutorials to get you started, the rest is Google and trail-and-error

First time I've seen this. I don't think I would pay what you paid for it. I don't know what you paid, I just know you out bided me, and I offered a lot.

Also, in another year maybe different. Im currently unemployed. As are many. When I regain work, will be at half of the income I used to make. Bad year to sell stuff.

True that, but I'm aware it might take a decade or more for someone interested, and more importantly, motivated, to show up.
If the ambition is to keep the lights on, it's just going to be a drain on your resources.

Its also possible you over paid for the site. And don't want to take a loss and sell for less, but doubtful anyone will come up with the money to recover your investment. Sorry, don't mean to sound negative.

There are too few members, and too much maintenance. I think if you advertised and got a larger influx of active members, sell the site at affordable price, and offer some sort of maintenance package, then odds of a buyer would go way up.

On the other hand, with a larger influx of active members, I'd probably be less inclined to sell as well. It's a thin line

Not sure who would pay top dollar, and do maintenance, and pay for advertising. Seems like risky buy. But you are already in the deal of it. So either idle with it as is, with little to no growth over next decade, or invest more to try and drive up traffic. Or cut loses where they are at and sell for less than bought it for.

Or pitch it to an established company, where they ad it to what they already have going on as something extra for there current visitors.

Or ad in a audio chat function in live lobby. Could be an impressive commercial.
Maybe ad in special visual and audio effects to when a capture is taken, and when there is victory or loss. Make exciting commercial. Maybe make a stone game version that looks like candy crush, because that audio visual was a million dollar idea that worked.
