(automagical) King of the Hill
Posted: Jun 28, 2016, 5:47 PM

Today I'm automating King of the Hill, similar to ladders/stairs you may be used to from other websites. There's more info on the brand-new KotH page.

What may be not clear is that you don't have to join/leave the hill, it's all automatic, all you have to do is play a game in the "King of the Hill" live game room, the rest should take care of itself.

This also means there are 16 white crowns up for grabs, and soon 24 when the turn-based games are rolled out

Get yours today!

Come and get it

It's worth noting that you don't even have to play me to get my crown, you just have to get ahead and make sure you're alone at the top of the hill.

In other news today, King of the Hill is now opened to turn-based games as well, you can play it on the website or your favorite mobile device.

how do I knock a player off of the top step if there is no challenge button to play them?... seems a flaw in the non-subscriber limitations, that effects subscribers. :/

You don't have to beat the top player to get to the top step or become king. Any win will move you up and you can challenge people within 2 steps of your own.

It's all still beta, I'm open to suggestions to improve the format.

I'm beginning to feel like there should be a limit to how many games you can accept, I understand there is a decline option, but I'm not that kinda guy.

What limit would you have in mind?

Can other subscribers chime in as to whether they also want their number of KotH games (invitations and ongoing) limited?

Its my turn in 30 games. This is more than I want to concentrate on.
I'm interested to see what others think

I changed it so that a subscriber with 5 (or any other suggested number) sets can not be challenged any longer, but that subscriber can still send out challenges if he wishes to play more.

5 seems good to me, ten at the very most.
