dude! chill out! unless its a tourney game or a bloodmatch what does it matter? he has the option to request a cancel game and you have the right to refuse or accept. i personally have cancelled many games and accepted many.

While it's not good form to request a set cancellation to avoid defeat, neither is it good form to call such quarrels out in public. The combination of timeouts and declining cancel requests can entirely prevent you from losing a game should your opponent insist on cancelling to avoid defeat.
That being said, I want to discourage both behaviors in the future.
I also want to discourage my own opponents from placing stones where I want to place mine, but that's a different matter altogether.

Now if only we were able to click "like" on a persons post...
But yes, publicly hazing a member, doesn't exactly make them want to remain a member.
Let's try not to publicly discriminate/humiliate/outcast/shun/etc... our fellow Pentegonians, regardless of difficulties.
If the way they communicate/play does not resonate with one, I believe a plethora of tools has been provided to safe guard ones self, without a need to attack them.

notchman didn't name the offender, so his feelings shouldn't be hurt, and he's probably gotten the message. Similar "errors" have been made by newbies until they get the hang of all the tools available...or learn manners.

Notch, Zoey and I have been mean girls...though we're not girls, this exchange sounds like a Jr. Hi girlie thing.
ALL pente players, by nature, have ENORMOUS brains and should be able to find the humor in this exchange, even if it takes growing a bit thicker skin...
