I will say tho, the point of the tourney is to reunite the community. And I'm not sure that segregating members is conducive to that vision.

the whole point of the room is to create a venue for tourney players to brush up by playing tourney rules.
which yes can be done in most any room should they choose to do so.
and any player rated 1000+ can easily register for the tourney should they want to join the practice room.
in fact, no one is excluded and i hope everyone signs up!

Something tells me most players would prefer non tourney players to practice with so they don't expose lines to opponents. Not all of course. That said I think most condenders are going to hide in the data base to study until Dec 1st. Just my guess any how. The practice room is a neat idea. Whether or not that it gets used, or is superfluous over the main room with private tables, shall be revealed in time. But yes, as to more people signing up, the more the Merrier.

and perhaps the clever player would use weak lines to mislead the competition while sizing them up...
