I recall a round robin on BK where you didn't play the tournament winner, so it does happen. Thug finals sounds okay to me. Just trying to think of all the possibilities, since the financial consideration may get more entrants into this tournament than a run of the mill Masters tournament here would draw.

The BK tournaments of the pente silver age had double-digit top player representation and typically went 3 rounds (something like 60 -> 15 -> 4); right now we have two top players out of 9 entrants. I would be extremely surprised if this tournament went more than two rounds (probably something like 18 -> 6), but I'd love it if that were the case.
It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.
