Well, aside from Tempest, whom I won't be challenging (he's too good) , I do find it a bit strange that you don't have to accept a challenge within a certain time frame. It sometimes happens to me that challenges aren't accepted, so I just delete them after a while. I thought KotH was a serious competition that everyone who signed up for one of the Hills would be interested in (??)

You don't have to accept them, but, - declining can, but is penalised if you decline a lower-ranked player, - you can't go too long without finishing a game or you're removed from the hill.
I'm not too comfortable to start forcing people to accept invitations, especially from higher-ranked players

One reason would be the time per turn-- if they dont want to play a 2 day/turn game
What if we had a way to propose new game length? I guess messaging opponent works, but if we are going to force accepting of challenges then we'd need to think about the game length.

Also, if already playing multiple koth games and not wanting to start another would be a reason not to accept quickly. Would need to factor that in as well if we decide to force accepting
