Swiping left and right

When I go back to analyze former games I’ve played and even current games I’m playing I can only swipe left to remove pieces. I can no longer swipe right to replace the pieces I’ve removed. Is this just a glitch or now a permanent function/non-function?

that should have been fixed in the latest version, see this thread. Can you confirm you're on the latest version and it doesn't work for you?
