In my move from the East Coast to the West Coast I drove through North Texas (route 40 to be precise) and ate at a Dairy Queen while I was there (maybe my worst meal of the trip, but whatever). Does this count?

Dan is Master level in any Japanese ranking system. The level is black belt. In Japan every samurai have to get Dan level in Go and Shogi. There are 1-9 Dans show the level of Dan , ussally Dan level means 1-st Dan which is lowest. But before Dan level there are Kyu level ussially from 15-1 The 15 is lowest and 1-st is the highest.

Let me see if I understand this correctly, Dan is from japan and he works at Dairy Queen in Deep north Texas with his friend Kyu , where they make bad food to Go... ?

I for one did not think you were making fun of anyone, just the use of the name Dan. Totally harmless fun aimed at noone. But I guess unless we are red, we cannot comprehend the same level of thinking...

i don't think im smarter or more superior than any of the other members here just because im red. i will say that i do know more about pente than "some" players here. thats about the only upper hand i will claim i have.
i am not an elitist. i don't segregate my self from lower ranks with a holier than thow attitude, simply because im a red. i only am agressive with those when i feel they are doing a injustice. i acknowledge i am only human like the rest of you.

I feel I have used "deep Texas vilage" not good example. I don't mean the real Texas players who live in state Texas, I mean the player which is from any town which have no much experience in pente, but thinking that he have top level. I feel Texas players wanted annoying me for that. I really not good enougth in English, sometimes it is dificult to translate the texts from Forum. But if they really not understand what I said , this case I can just use words from Bible on Russian " Ne mechi biser pered svinyami da ne poprut oni ego nogami"
