Ahh yes ok. They are "many friends" that have been playing boat rules in person not over the internet. They have been playing at the boat over the last couple of decades. There are those that are considered boat rules pente masters by others.Thats a fact that I and friends only know as fact. There is no internet media evidence to support these claims. Just only my word. Perhaps other may second this.

I dunno if i ever heard anyone talk about moms without getting a fat lip unless it was amongst friends, and, well, I doubt Karl was talkin' to a friend as he doesn't really have any.....and, oh...at least my mom doesn't regret it

I personally think karl has brought a lot to this site with starting up these tournaments, but he does have a lot to learn as far as people skills go. and to the rest of you who are putting down C6, have you even given it a fair chance. change happens all the time and you can either resist or go with it. usually resisting takes seems easier but might not be the best. anyway, I think these boat rules sound like a good twist that might be interesting if implemented on the site, maybe not many people would play, but at least it would be available.
just my thoughts on a few things, they make sense in my mind, but...I can't make any promises about yours

All joking aside folks, I think we should consider "boat rules" as an alternative method of playing the lovely game pente. Trying to find ways of knocking this way of playing pente, without maybe trying it on your home board game is really just being close minded and lazy... I have played "boat rule pente" off and on for about a year and a half, and find it quite fun, and challenging. All in all, who gives a rat's tooth if there is one more variation to this game, we all evolve and adapt to things from time to time, and there is nothing wrong with that><
Karlw: you need some sweet sun and relaxation man, to uptight for your age, get a girlfriend...
